Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Larry Connell Phillips, 51, of Climax, GA will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Chaplain Dewitt Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home.
Mr. Phillips was born April 8, 1957, in Decatur County, GA to the now late Waymon Connell and Shelby Jean Cain Phillips. He was a construction worker. Mr. Phillips passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA.
Mr. Phillips is survived by fiancé Teresa Torres of Climax, GA; three sisters; Leatha Weathersby, Marsha Darlene (Husband John) Collins of Climax, GA, and Sandra Pearl (husband Israel) Guerra of Strawberry Plains, TN; three brothers; Waymon Michael (wife Eva) Phillips of Brinson, GA, Terry Keith (Wife Suzanne) Phillips of Bainbridge, GA, and Dewey Mark Phillips of Climax, GA; three nephews; Nicholas Weathersby, Kaleb Phillips, and Kolby Phillips; and two nieces; Hannah Weathersby and Jennifer Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
