Graveside services for Mrs. Kathleen Hatcher, age 91 of Bainbridge, will be Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Grubbs officiating.
Visitation will be immediately following the service.
Mrs. Hatcher was born July 27, 1918 the daughter of the now late Theodore D. "Saing" and Huron Brown Carter. She later married Smiley B. Hatcher. Mrs. Hatcher worked at Jack Winter as a seamstress and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing and cooking. She was a member of the ILGWU and organization with the garment industry. Mrs. Hatcher passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care.
She is survived by one daughter Ernestine Badman and husband Lloyd of Manchester, TN; two sons Donald Moore and wife Carol of Albany and Ray Haire and wife Rebecca of Bainbridge; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters LaTrilla Privett of Colquitt and Billie Ann Phillips of Beaumont,TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters and one brother. |
Graveside services: Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
