Mrs. Ida Mae Robinson Morrisett passed away Tuesday, December 06, 2011, at her home in Bainbridge, Georgia. A memorial service in her honor will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chuck Bostick will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Ida Mae Robinson was born June 9, 1953 in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Brantley and Thelma Boyette Robinson. She was proud to work as a nurse. Before her illness, she worked at Seminole County Hospital. Ida Mae loved doing crafts. She could take any junk and make something wonderful. She had a huge heart; always wiling to help. Her family says she didn't know the meaning of the word, NO.
Ida Mae Morrisett is survived by her husband, Jeff Morrisett; her daughter, Chasity Sapp and husband, Sammy; grandchildren, Ciara and Samantha Sapp; brother, Rodger Robinson and wife, Carla, all of Bainbridge; step-children, Emory Morrisett of Colquitt, Georgia and Timmy Morrisett, serving in the Coast Guard, stationed in South Carolina; nieces, Teresa Pippins and her children, Joshua, Austin, and Seth, and Lisa Morris and her children, Toby Alday and Megan Bettis; nephews, Tony Morris and wife, Ronda, and Curtis Robinson of McDonough, Georgia; and aunt, Evon Martin of Winter Haven, Florida.
