Danny Lyroy Ouzts of Cairo passed away Friday, January 27, 2012, at Grady General Hospital. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Midway Baptist Church. The Rev. Carl Harrell will be officiating. The family will receive friends at the conclusion of the service.
Danny Lyroy Ouzts was born July 12, 1952 in Cairo to Benjamin Leroy Ouzts and Earlene Wilkes Ouzts. He graduated from Thomasville High School and Florida State University. Danny worked in land surveying. He loved to go camping and fishing on the Ochlocknee River. Danny enjoyed the simple things in life.
Danny Ouzts is survived by his son, Aaron Honeycutt Ouzts of Thomasville, Georgia and his mother, Earlene Ouzts of Cairo. He was preceded in death by his father.
