Judy, Dana, and family: Anita and I extend our deepest condolences to all of you. Benny was one of a kind, that's for sure. I will always remember helping him with the chicken pilau fundraisers for the F.I.R.M. Dance Company. I could always count on learning something about cooking chicken pilau as well as hearing some good local stories. I know the memories you have will always be precious. Take care of one another.

Judy and family, I am so sorry to see of Benny's passing as you well know I know the feelings of losing the ones we love so dear. I still can remember Benny telling the story of when Mama brung me home from the hospital of the remark he made of what they had named me. He told Ms. Gladys and mama that, was too long of a name for a pretty baby. OH what memories we have of him on the farm and him being my daughter's bus driver in later years and now I have just about lost my whole family. Just know you are in my prayers and thoughts would have been there if I could have. I am living in Murphy NC now.

Mr. Benny, I have only known you a few years, but you were so much fun to be around. I loved hearing your stories and especially all the fish fries we had with the Johnson Family. We will surely miss the Chili Cook-Off where you were the judge. Think Papa Rox, paid you off a few times. You will always be remembered as the most loveable "Teddy Bear" at the party. Love and prayers to all of the family and friends. You will surely be missed! Have fun celebrating and telling your stories in Heaven! Love You, Dianne Johnson

Judy and family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Benny. I know the hurt and emptyness that you are feeling in your heart. No words can be spoken to take that pain away. It was always such a pleasure to just sit and talk to Benny cause he always had an interesting story to tell. We all are going to miss him very much but we know he is now in the arms of Jesus, no more pain or suffering. Please know that I am praying for you and all your family and Jesus is always by your side. If I can help you in any way, I will be there. Love you, Larry Palmer.

Our condolences and prayers go out to Mrs. Judy and family on this sad occasion. We got to meet Mr. Benny on several occasions while visiting my sister Vicki Johnson, he always had a warm smile and firm handshake to welcome all. His stories always entertained and informed of times past. We will miss him!

Mrs. Judy and family.... I am sending prayers and my sincerest condolences Mr. Bennie thoroughly enjoyed our meeting at Prince Reunion and the help he rendered in my yard from Hurricane Michael. Also enjoyed the trip showing tribute to Prince attendance at Natural Bridge enactment and so many other memories, even keeping relic of the goat stall in the museum where milked the goats at Granny's (Louise and Lollie Prince) in my years growing up. My deepest love to you during this difficult time.
