Christine D. Pollock Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Mrs. Christine D. Pollock, 84, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Morningside Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Dean and Rev. Joe Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens with David Pollock, Durwood Pollock, Sam Pollock, Eddie Johnson, Mickey Blewett, Leonard Dean and Tony Christopher serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Pollock was born July 11, 1925 in Decatur County, GA to the now late William Riley and Anna Lodge Boutwell Dean. She was married to Eugene Pollock and lived all of her life in Decatur County. Mrs. Pollock taught Sunday School for many years at Dellwood Baptist Church and Morningside Baptist Church where she was a charter member. She graduated from Mt. Pleasant School, loved crocheting, making dolls, sewing, and reading. Mrs. Pollock passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, GA. Donations can be made to Morningside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1303 Vada Rd, Bainbridge, GA 39817. She is survived by two daughters; Anna Pollock of Bainbridge, GA and Gail Pollock (Husband Tony) Wells of Bainbridge, GA; one son, Jerry Eugene (Wife Beverly) Pollock of Bainbridge, GA; one sister, Jeanette Martin of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren, Jeremy Eric Pollock, Corey Leigh Wells, Bradley Jarrod Wells, and April Pollock Buffaloe; and one great grandchild, Zoe Isabelle Wells. Mrs. Pollock was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters; Fannie Bell Dean and Janie Anderton, and brothers; Crafton Dean, Hoover Dean, and Roy Boutwell.
