Faye Britt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Faye Bryant Britt, age 81, passed away early on Monday. December 4, 2017, at Memorial Manor in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mrs. Britt will be held at 11:00, Thursday, December 7, graveside, at Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Brinson, Georgia. The family will greet friends at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 until 10:45. At that time the group will go in procession to the cemetery. The Rev. James Scarborough will be officiating. Faye Bryant Britt was born in Pavo, Georgia, April 17, 1936, to Ivey John Bryant and Lula Gray Bryant. Faye was gifted in crafts and sewing. She made beautiful baby quilts and enjoyed giving her finished pieces to friends and family. She loved flowers and worked in her yard whenever she could. Mrs. Britt wrote Christian booklets, as she was inspired by the Lord. She loved helping people and spreading God's word. Faye Bryant Britt is survived by her children, Margaret Ann Tillery of Brinson, Georgia, David Pfeffer and wife, Gwen of Highpoint, North Carolina, Alice Robertson of Graham, North Carolina, Shirley Hall of Madison, North Carolina, and Mary Pfeffer of Cocoa, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Janell Laughlin and husband, Bob of Randleman, North Carolina, Connie Castell and husband, Steve of Moultrie, Georgia, and Johnny Bryant and wife, Faye of Moultrie, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Steve Pfeffer and Robert Pfeffer, son-in-law, Bradford Robertson, and 8 brothers and sisters.
